Over the last couple of years there has been a large increase in the number of virus and trojan programs which "attack" Windows based system. This page gives you general guidance regarding protecting your system together with downloads to remove the latest virus and trojan programs. If you use the internet then your system should be equipped with an Anti Virus Program. MVA Computer Services recommend AVG FREE edition 2011. This is free and can be downloaded using the link on the left.

We also recommend that you download a pop-up removal program. Adaware removes pop-ups (internet adverts) which slow down your internet connection or even in some extreme cases stop your internet connection. Barlow Computing recommend Adaware.
