Hard drives, we probably don’t even think about them until we start experiencing problems with our computers or laptops , this happened recently to a customer in Redditch. Your treasured pictures are on there, nice and safe ? Unfortunately, this is a mistake, as computers can experience problems with a dead hard drive or you can get an error telling you “hard drive failed.” In either situation, data recovery can be very difficult or even impossible .
This may seen an obvious solution, back up your data on a regular basis, but a lot of people don’t. There are many ways to do this from Cloud backup offered by many companies (i.e Dropbox etc.) too simply copy and paste using a USB memory stick.
Fortunately, our customer was lucky and we managed to rescue the data before the drive failed completely and we installed a new hard drive.
